I do not believe that we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

I believe we were all born as innocent as Jesus, and have lived as good a life as we’re able, into whatever circumstances we emerged… and we are not sinners. We are spiritual beings having a human experience and making the best of it, mistakes and all. Whatever mistakes we perceive that we’ve committed… we need to understand them within the larger field of illusion. Much of it is unreal.

There is no sin. That is part of the illusion. We are perfect as God made us. Whatever we perceive as sin is our own self condemning itself.

Self condemning itself – isn’t that funny! We’ve made our selves the judge of self. So then where exactly is the mistake in this?

The one mistake, the real mistake, the only mistake, is the idea of self. Self does not exist. Self is not real. Self does not exist.

There is no self.

What is born today (in the city of David) in you and in me is the living God, who breathes and who thinks, and who knows this life of ours. There has never been a self. There has only been and always will be God at play within the world of human experience. No sin. No fault. Just a simple mistake of thinking that the self was real. God cavorting in the human realm.

Who was born this day in the city of David was… you. You. The idea that YOU could live an autonomous life apart from God.

No, this self that we’ve known for nearly all our lives is a central piece of the illusion. There is no self. There is only one being… One being. One simply being. The all-that-is, being. And you, every part of you – and me, and all of us – are what the all-that-is is being.

Happy Christmas to you! Happy Christmas to you one and all! And to God in all God’s magnificence… Happy Christmas to God in human form.

Are you offended by this? If so, can you explain why?
